By Stanley Lim Min-Chieh, Mouth and Foot Painting Artists
The birch tree, slender and radiant, stands as a quiet sentinel of renewal, a gentle whisper of life beginning again. Its pale bark tells stories of resilience and grace. In its presence, one finds not only the promise of new beginnings, but also a deep and calming peace at heart as if nature were offering a soft hand to hold. The birch does not shout of change; it breathes it gently into the wind, inviting viewers to shed what no longer serves and step into lightness, hope, and quiet joy.
About
Stanley Lim Min-Chieh is a mouth painter whose journey is a testament to resilience and the power of self-expression. After a severe traffic accident in 2005 left him Quadriplegic, Stanley’s life as an aerospace engineer came to an abrupt end. In 2008, he discovered mouth painting — a challenge that soon became a deeply fulfilling way to express himself.
