The Naga, a mythical serpent of great power and spiritual significance, appears across Hinduism, Buddhism, and Southeast Asian cultures, especially in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and southern India. More than just a legendary creature, it symbolises faith, greatness, and protection, standing as a divine guardian. Its stories are not mere folklore, but a sacred bridge between the mortal world and the divine, offering a profound connection to the unseen forces that guide and protect us.
About
Kritsanakorn Maliwan, an independent artist from Mueang District, Samut Prakan, creates stunning works of art using only one hand. In 1992, a tragic accident left his right hand permanently disabled, forcing him to adapt in ways he never imagined. Through sheer determination, he spent over four years training to use his left hand, all while refining his artistic skills. Eventually, he developed a distinctive Thai traditional art style that became uniquely his own. Today, Kritsanakorn works as a freelance artist, known for his intricate Thai patterns, and selflessly volunteers to teach art to children, asking nothing in return.
