Warm Soul, Wild Magic

This gentle, mythical creature is painted in soft gold and grey to evoke warmth and quiet comfort. His magic is not loud or flashy but glowing softly from within like the small sparks of imagination that surface when we play, dream, and create. The artist imagined him as a kind and watchful protector for anyone who feels small, a presence that meets you with gentle eyes as if to say: "You are safe here. You can play and be yourself." He is a quiet reminder that play does not always have to be noisy, and that strength can be gentle. Through him, the artist reminds us that imagination has the power to protect, comfort, and help our inner light glow once more.

For Gabriel, art is a warm space of colour, wonder and imagination where everyday moments become stories. Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), he expresses himself through painting, sculpting and writing, often depicting animals and meaningful places. His journey with Shaping Hearts began through his art therapist and teacher, Karyn, where he found a safe space to grow in confidence. In 2024, he shared his creative process publicly and continues to develop his artistic practice.
