By Christina Lau Lay Lian, Mouth and Foot Painting Artists
Fullerton Riverside stands where the gravitas of the historic district meets the glass-fronted ambition of Marina Bay — a point where past meets the future, Colonial foundations and the world-famous skyline converge, framed by the arc of the Singapore River and mirrored in the sheen of steel and water. Its architecture blends memory with momentum: neoclassical columns set against the rise of modern towers, bringing a touch of the future to a place steeped in heritage. This layering of form and function brings rhythm to the city’s edge, where business, history, and imagination flow in one continuous sweep of line, surface, and story.
About
After a life-changing car accident in 2005 that left her with C6 spinal cord injury, Christina Lau discovered new ways to express herself through art. Despite being paralysed from her chest down and the loss of finger movements, she transformed her journey from Prison Officer to artist, demonstrating remarkable resilience. Through her artwork, she continues to share her unique perspective, proving that creativity knows no physical bounds.
