The artist depicts a vivid park landscape with trees, clouds, a slide, and winding walkways beneath a blistering orange sun. As the sky turns fiery, distant clouds glow green, pink, and blue, capturing the beauty of a sunset. The natural scene is brought to life with vibrant colours and complex brushstrokes, demonstrating imagination, inspiration, and a lively enjoyment of nature—an embodiment of play itself.

What began as simple childhood doodles has evolved into Ezra’s distinctive contemporary art practice, blending abstract forms, Cubist influences and vibrant colours into imaginative visual narratives. At 15, he was named Most Promising Artist at the 34th UOB Painting of the Year. He later earned Distinctions in NAFA’s Certificate programmes in Visual Arts and Fine Art and received the Lee Kuan Yew Exemplary Student Award. His work has been exhibited internationally in the UK, USA and Spain, with his solo exhibition Reimagined Realities presented during Singapore Art Week 2026.
