Inspired by Jeju Island, Reuel captures vast skies and gentle green lands with care. Referencing a mentor’s photo, he refined the scene over months. Lush green foliage clings on to the cliff, which overlooks the pristine blue waters beneath. The work honours the island’s beauty while reflecting shared dreams and guidance. It celebrates connection across distance and time through art.

At the age of 13 during the COVID-19 circuit breaker, Reuel discovered painting through a paint-by-numbers set at home. Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), he was drawn to colour and showed strong sensitivity to tone and composition. What began as a simple activity grew into a deeper interest through practice and exploration. Over time, he developed his skills and confidence, with his journey reflecting joy, resilience and self-belief in his growth as an artist.
