By Lai Zer Yinn, Extraordinary People Limited
"Wings of Summer" is a crisp and elegantly observed study of a Monarch butterfly poised upon a white flower, its proboscis extended as it drinks from the bloom. The bold orange and black of the butterfly's wings stand in vivid contrast to the clean white petals and soft green grass, creating a composition that feels both precise and quietly alive. The artist's clean, confident brushwork gives the work a clarity and stillness that invites the viewer to linger. It reflects an artist with a genuine fascination for the small, winged creatures of the natural world, finding in their delicate forms a subject of enduring beauty and careful study.
