Inspired by the lush green forestry hues and flowers in bloom encountered during walks with her mother, she blends playful experimentation with organic forms, creating a rich, immersive scene that feels alive with natural energy, quiet memory, and the particular joy of discovering beauty in the everyday world.

Genine’s artistic journey began in 2019 during art psychotherapy sessions at Extraordinary People with Principal Art Therapist Ms Lama. Living with Global Developmental Delay (GDD), she progressed from early repeated markings to painting through patient guidance. The fluidity of paint helped unlock her expression, leading to dynamic, movement-filled works. She now creates intuitively using paint, hands and feet, producing bold compositions that reflect her curiosity and energy.
