I found this cool cave on one of my hikes. Even after 3 days of walking, that green glow still felt so far away, so I decided to snap a photo before heading out to resupply. I found our old pictures while rummaging and realised it wouldn't be the same if you weren't there. If the picture I sent below piques your interest, would you like to join me for one last hike?

Through this artwork, Zayne takes viewers into a world full of mystery and quiet reflection. The painting is inspired by a letter from Mikey, a character whose identity and purpose remain unclear. He writes a message—addressed to no one in particular—talks about a lonely hike, a distant green glow, and a wish for someone to join him. This feeling of distance and longing is captured in the abstract strokes of blue and green that flow through the canvas, making it feel like a journey that’s both close and far away, both visible and hidden. The painting invites reflection, urging viewers to ponder: Who is Mikey? Why is he on this solitary hike? What does the green glow represent, and who is he trying to reach? These unanswered questions draw the viewer deeper into the artwork, transforming it from a mere visual experience into an emotional journey. Mikey’s words, filled with longing and the notion of a “last hike,” provoke contemplation on the connections we form, the paths we walk, and the people who accompany us along the way.
