Masjid Sultan, one of Singapore’s most iconic religious landmarks, is set against the rich backdrop of Malay culture. The painting highlights the harmonious blend of tradition and faith, depicting traditional Malay performances and attire alongside the grandeur of the mosque. The piece reflects the deep cultural heritage and community spirit that Masjid Sultan has long represented in Kampong Glam, serving as both a place of worship and a symbol of unity for the Malay-Muslim community in Singapore.
