Sijun captures the lively spirit of Clarke Quay, where there is a fusion of heritage and modern vitality. "Every night here feels like a celebration — the river holds Singapore’s past, while the lights and lively crowd reflect its present. It’s a place for people to gather, dine, enjoy music, and soak in the city’s beauty.” Beloved for its nightlife, heritage shophouses, and picturesque riverside, Clarke Quay embodies the eternal allure of Singapore, inviting viewers to experience its warmth and liveliness.
About
Sijun is a cheerful boy who finds joy in painting vibrant, colourful scenes. Born with Down Syndrome and Congenital Heart Defect, he has faced many challenges, including surgeries and difficulties with speech, vision, and gripping objects. Nevertheless, his love for painting has remained strong. Though he paints slowly, carefully filling each canvas stroke by stroke, he never gives up. Outside of painting, Sijun enjoys designing dream homes on his iPad and aspires to study interior design, hoping to create beautiful spaces that bring joy, just like the colours in his artwork.
