"Where Colours Grow Wild" presents a vibrant and expressive landscape centred around a red flower, surrounded by layered brushstrokes in hue of greens, pinks, purples, and browns. Abstract tree forms, a body of water beneath and a bright yellow sun bring life to the artwork's natural setting. Above, repeated brown marks resemble falling leaves or petals, creating rhythm and movement. Bingchuan's playful use of colour and form emphasizes emotion and imagination over realism. By capturing a sense of joy and wonder, he invites viewers to appreciate beauty within a dynamic and unpredictable environment.

About

Born in 1985 and diagnosed with Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy, Bingchuan lives with significant physical challenges and is unable to communicate verbally. Through the support of caregivers and therapists, he discovered art as a powerful means of expression. Over time, he developed confidence in using imagery, colour and symbolism to communicate ideas, often exploring themes of companionship, freedom and inner strength.
