With his mouth as his artistic tool, Bingchuan paints pink lotus flowers foregrounding great expansive mountains. The lotuses are delicate and exude a subtle sense of elegance. Despite not being the focus, the vast green mountains that fill the canvas would be alone without the flora. Rather than focusing on one subject, one should step back to see the big picture. Only then can one truly move mountains. This introspective artwork gives viewers much to reflect on.

About

Born in 1985 and diagnosed with Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy, Bingchuan lives with significant physical challenges and is unable to communicate verbally. Through the support of caregivers and therapists, he discovered art as a powerful means of expression. Over time, he developed confidence in using imagery, colour and symbolism to communicate ideas, often exploring themes of companionship, freedom and inner strength.
