Ng Siew Lian discovered her artistic voice through resilience and self-discovery while living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and other health conditions. Introduced to art as a therapeutic activity, she gradually found it to be a meaningful outlet for expression. With encouragement from therapists, she developed confidence in using colour, shape and brushwork to communicate emotions. Her artworks reflect patience, imagination and inner strength, and for Siew Lian, art is a powerful source of empowerment and resilience.
