Winding and twisting, the chaotic lines symbolise life's constantly altering situations. The yellow paint seems to be contained within these lines but slowly venture out beyond their constraints. This painting displays a message to always think outside the box, outside the few lines you've drawn for yourself – Life is filled with unlimited possibilities.

Cheng Fong Chan discovered her artistic practice through structured art sessions introduced during rehabilitation and care. Living with multiple physical and cognitive conditions, she has shown patience and perseverance in her creative journey. Through adapted materials and guidance, she began exploring painting at her own pace, gradually building confidence. Her sensitivity to bold colour and contrast has shaped a distinctive visual language, where she communicates through colour, pattern and composition.
