By Serene Sng, ARTDIS (Singapore) Ltd.
Celebrating Singapore's unique biodiversity, Serene Sng's painting portrays a close-up view of two common tiger butterflies and one blue-glassy tiger butterfly native to the region. With their intricate wing patterns at the heart of the scene, the artist brings these gentle creatures to life with the use of vibrant and solid flat colours. This painting not only celebrates the quiet beauty of local fauna but also invites viewers to see Singapore through a fresh viewpoint — one that honours the beauty and uniqueness of the country's identity.
