“Blessings” is a visual representation of hopes carried in colour, shape, and symbol, a visual offering of well-wishes and abundance. Each object is placed with care and meaning: the golden oranges represent wealth and vitality, the red envelope signifies the essence of good fortune and prosperity, and the teapot, delicately adorned with blossoms, radiates warmth, welcome, and shared moments. Together, they form more than a still life. They become a gentle prayer, a gathering of tradition and love, inviting us to pause, reflect, and receive life’s blessings with open hands and grateful hearts.
About
Aaron began his career as a professional hairstylist before a motorcycle accident left him paralysed from the neck down. After years of emotional struggle, a chance introduction to art by another individual living with Quadriplegia marked a turning point in his life. Discovering a natural talent for painting, he went on to receive formal training at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Working primarily in oils, Aaron developed a realist style inspired by nature, with each piece reflecting both technical skill and the quiet strength shaped by his personal journey.
