In "Playground Memories", Arish turns to the iconic Dragon Playground as a subject rich with personal meaning, childhood memories, and a deep connection to Singapore's heritage. Encountered it during a school excursion, the playground left a lasting impression through its vivid colours and extraordinary design, a structure that looked and felt like a real dragon brought to life. Arish was particularly struck by how such a distinctive and imaginative space had the power to draw people together, uniting generations through the simple and universal joy of play.

About

From a young age, Arish, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), has been drawn to making and building, from intricate train tracks to sculpting with Play-Doh, showing an early sense of creativity and curiosity. This interest gradually developed into drawing, where he began expressing his ideas through sketches and artworks on paper. Over time, drawing became a constant presence in his daily life, with Arish often carrying a pencil and paper, ready to capture ideas as they arise.
