Jun Zhe's artwork takes the form of an exciting animation manga strip, born from the joy of playing with a close friend and the desire to capture that bond through storytelling. Through a lively sequence of drawings, the artist imagines himself and his friend as characters within an action-filled comic world, embarking on adventures that exist only in the realm of shared imagination. The strip demonstrates a natural flair for creativity, weaving friendship and play into a visual story that depicts the deep connection that grows between people who create and explore together.

About

Jun Zhe, an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), first developed an interest in drawing through sketching portraits of people around him. Fascinated by facial features, expressions and fine details, he spent time observing and practising, gradually building confidence in his artistic abilities. Over time, he expanded his practice to include anime characters and other portrait styles, exploring different ways of capturing personality and emotion. His work reflects patience, careful observation and a growing passion for visual storytelling, as he continues to develop his creative voice through art.
