By Leo Lai Yongle, AWWA School @ Napiri
In "Meadow in the Horizon", Leo brings a vibrant landscape to life through a thoughtful use of pastel colours, blending soft hues and layering shades to depict a peaceful meadow in full bloom. Flowers stretch toward the horizon in quiet abundance, while the sky above transitions gently through colour, lending the scene both depth and a sense of calm. The work demonstrates a confident understanding of how colours interact, with each tonal choice contributing to a harmony that feels both considered and instinctive, transforming a simple landscape into an emotionally resonant and visually inviting world.
