"Colourful World" marks a notable shift in the artist's practice, as restrained linework gives way to a more expressive and emotionally engaged approach. Faces appear with greater frequency and character, coloured with care and animated by distinct expressions, hairstyles, and personalities. The palette expands warmly into greens, yellows, blues, reds, and beiges, while outlines grow softer and less dominant. It reflects an artist who has turned outward to the people around them, discovering in human expression a subject as rich and worthy as any other.
About
Tian Bao is an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who discovered his interest in art at a young age through doodling and colouring. With encouragement from his parents and art enrichment classes, he developed his practice from simple shapes into more detailed compositions. His drawings often feature everyday subjects such as doors, flowers, vegetables, Chinese characters and portraits, reflecting his growing observation skills and imagination.
