Street of Imagination

"Street of Imagination" arranges buildings, objects, and street elements into a composition that feels at once documentary and dreamlike, rendered in clean pen or pencil outlines with loose splashes of coloured marker punctuating the monochromatic scene. The precise linework gives the work an observational quality, while the scattered colour splotches introduce spontaneity and personality that lifts it beyond mere record-keeping. It reflects an artist who moves through the built environment with a curious and attentive gaze, finding in ordinary structures a subject worthy of careful study.

About

Tian Bao is an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who discovered his interest in art at a young age through doodling and colouring. With encouragement from his parents and art enrichment classes, he developed his practice from simple shapes into more detailed compositions. His drawings often feature everyday subjects such as doors, flowers, vegetables, Chinese characters and portraits, reflecting his growing observation skills and imagination.
