Playing together in Class

This lively artwork celebrates the friends and familiar environment of the artist's classroom with infectious energy and warmth. Five figures populate the scene, one notably tall with extraordinarily long legs suggesting a figure of authority, while the remaining characters gather around a toy car in a moment of shared play. Each character is given its own distinct identity through patterned faces and expressive eyes, reflecting how the artist sees and cherishes the individual qualities of those he loves.

About

Haziq, an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), enjoys exploring art and expressing his creativity in his everyday life. Given any drawing tool, he is able to transform almost any surface into a space for his imagination and ideas. He enjoys experimenting with lines, shapes and colours, creating artworks that reflect his curiosity and unique way of seeing the world. His enthusiasm for drawing allows him to express himself freely while continuing to build his confidence and artistic skills.
