Campfire

This painting centres around a tiny glowing campfire, surrounded by warm shades of deep red. The background swirls with broad, playful strokes of colour, creating the feeling of warmth spreading through the night air. Bright touches of yellow gold and white flicker at the centre like dancing flames. It captures a child’s memory of sitting beside a fire under a warm evening sky.

Alif, an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), builds his works through hands-on exploration of materials. Rather than starting with a fixed plan, he allows ideas to grow as he works, with each stage shaping the final direction and form of the artwork.
