Colours at Play

The joy of play comes alive through colour, movement, and imagination in this exuberant work. As children explore artistic expression using primary colours, they create vibrant artworks filled with creativity. In certain areas of the composition, splashes of paint appear more concentrated, forming accidental constellations and bursts of texture that resemble fireworks frozen in a single, brilliant moment in time. The result is a canvas that feels spontaneous and alive, a joyful record of young hands and open minds at work.

Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Immanuel Dave S/O Rufus Devainthran discovers art in school as a space for exploration and expression. Through a range of tools and techniques, he is supported to create at his own pace in an inclusive environment that encourages self-discovery. Each line, shape and experiment becomes part of a quiet process of exploration, gradually building confidence as he continues to express his ideas through art.
