Luscious Forest

Bursting with thick swirls of blue and green, this painting blends colours, making the sky seemingly melt into a lush forest canopy. Bright emerald streaks dance across deep ocean‑blue patches like sunlight filtering through leaves. Without clear shapes, the artwork conveys the feeling of nature alive and moving, as if forest and sky meet in a dreamy, magical place only a child could invent.

Through his school art lessons, Arshan Nawwaz Bin Muhammad Hendra, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), engages in a process of exploration and creative discovery. Using a range of tools and techniques tailored to his needs, he develops his artistic practice within an inclusive learning environment. With emphasis placed on experimentation and process, Arshan is able to progress at his own pace and understand mistakes as part of artistic growth. As his confidence develops, his work reflects a growing sense of expression and individuality.
