Sijun reflects on the quiet magic of watching shapes form and shift beyond a train window, each one an invitation to imagine and interpret, knowing that the person seated nearby might see something altogether different. Even an ordinary train ride across Singapore holds the potential to become a small and meaningful encounter, sparked by a shared glance or a moment of spontaneous conversation. These fleeting games of imagination reveal how play can surface in the most everyday of moments, turning the routine into something unexpectedly connecting and joyful.

Sijun is a cheerful boy with Down Syndrome and a Congenital Heart Defect who finds joy in painting vibrant, colourful scenes. Despite challenges with speech, vision and motor skills, he paints with patience and determination, carefully building each canvas stroke by stroke. Beyong painting, Sijun enjoys designing dream homes on his iPad and aspires to study interior design one day, hoping to create beautiful spaces that bring joy, just like the colours in his artwork.
