SG60 Building Blocks

"SG60 Building Blocks" is a joyful and imaginative reimagining of the Singapore skyline, rendered in the soft, fluid washes of watercolour. The artist populates the canvas with a colourful, densely packed arrangement of HDB blocks. The composition is busy and full of life, radiating a sense of community, pride, and collective joy. It is a love letter to the local built environment, painted with the warmth of someone who finds beauty and meaning in the everyday fabric of the city they call home.

About

Jovan, an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), studied at Pathlight School and was invited to join the Artist Development Programme (ADP), where his artistic journey continued to unfold. His practice reflects quiet focus, curiosity and careful attention to visual detail, as he develops confidence in expressing his inner world through art.
