This peaceful scene depicts koi fish swimming beneath a blooming cherry blossom tree, its falling pink petals rendered against a dark background that draws the colours into vivid relief. Jimenez Marzel Grace Eguia, an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), studied at Pathlight School and was invited to join the Artist Development Programme (ADP). Launched in 2011, ADP aims to uncover students’ artistic talents and develop their potential. Through the programme, professional artists work closely with students to nurture their skills and support their artistic growth.
