Chai Hong, who lives with Poliomyelitis (Polio), began her artistic journey after visiting the 1996 VSA Annual Art Exhibition. Inspired by what she saw and encouraged by a colleague, she joined the VSA Saturday Art Class and later became a VSA artist. Known for her attention to detail, she uses delicate lines to create texture and depth in her watercolour landscapes. For Chai Hong, painting is a lifelong pursuit that offers reflection, fulfilment and personal happiness.
