Lee Siang Cheit is a self-taught artist whose body of work, Signing With Love, centres on the deeply personal themes of communication and the expression of love. The recurring heart motif woven throughout the series draws directly from his own lived experience, serving as both a visual anchor and an emotional declaration. The "I Love You" hand signs that appear across his works are a deliberate and powerful affirmation. A gesture of positive emotion consciously chosen to stand against and overcome negative thoughts. His artwork in Series #1 was selected to be featured on the NETS Flashpay Cash Cards, bringing his message of love and connection into the hands of everyday Singaporeans.

Lee Siang Cheit is a self-taught artist with hearing impairment whose practice is shaped by a strong sense of expression and emotional clarity. As an artist, he communicates through a visual language that reflects attentiveness, sincerity and a deep sensitivity to meaning beyond words. His works demonstrate resilience and determination, as he continues to develop his artistic voice through personal exploration and lived experience.
