The artwork interprets dopamine playfully while emphasizing the importance of play in everyday's hustle. It invites viewers to step into the portal, leaving behind the demands of adulthood to rediscover joy with introspectivity. The portal radiates back bursts of joyful experiences transforming fleeting moments of fun into lasting memories of happiness and growth. Ina views play as an essential need for self-development and recalibrates it as a universal language. "The process of this artwork tested my courage in having fun while I boldly paint the colour bursts. Perhaps having fun makes us courageous humans too. What do you think?" Says Ina.

Living with hearing impairment, Amalina is a self-taught artist whose creative journey began with simple black pen doodles on her notes, gradually developing into a signature pen-and-ink style. While black ink remains an important part of her visual identity, she is now expanding her practice by exploring colour through liner pens, brushes, and paint. Her experiences with art therapy have deeply shaped her outlook, inspiring her to embrace art as a form of healing and emotional expression. Through her work, she expresses emotions and hopes to share warmth, connection, and positivity with others.
