A remarkable collaboration between Aarya and Hoang Nam, winner of the Pan Pacific Hanoi Art Award 2024, 'Across Borders' is a vivid celebration of cultural connection and artistic unity. At the heart of the piece stands the pagoda; a timeless symbol that carries diverse meanings across cultures. In this work, Aarya and Nam each painted pagodas from their native countries, merging their distinct styles into a harmonious whole. With Nam offering guidance on blending techniques and fine detailing, the collaboration became a shared journey. 'Across Borders' stands as a testament to the power of art to transcend geography, forging bonds that speak through colour, form, and mutual respect.

Aarya channels his curiosity into art, having first discovered his passion by redesigning monsters and Pokémon for fun. His journey has since evolved into exploring character designs inspired by his deep fascination with the world around him. With a keen interest in sci-fi and the fantastical, Aarya blurs the boundaries of reality through his unique illustrative style and character designs. As an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), he is a valued member of Extraordinary People’s Creative Lab, where his creativity continues to flourish.
