The modern skyline of Singapore contrasts with the old, symbolizing 60 years of progress built on the foundation of our forefathers' hard work. Without their sacrifice, Singapore would not be what it is today. Titled "思源," the artwork honors these deep-rooted origins. As the second piece in the series, Chalmers offers a softer view of the Singapore River, contrasting with the modern cityscape of Singapore. The subtle greenery highlights the importance of preserving Singapore’s "Garden City" legacy, extending beyond 60 years of nation-building.
