Using a coarse texture medium to recreate sand and a circle drawn for goli (marbles), the artwork captures the carefree spirit of kampong days beneath the trees. The shadows of two youngsters watching over the game include a heart formed by one’s hands, capturing a quiet symbol of friendship, playful affection and shared memories. More than just marbles in a circle, the beautiful goli reflects how simple moments of laughter, pure fun and stories once connected people across generations, races and cultures.

About

Simeon is a talented artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), celebrated for his vibrant, whimsical creations that reflect his rich imagination and distinctive artistic voice across multiple mediums.
